Scott Hildenbrand

Bio & Certifications

Chief Scott Hildenbrand has been serving on the Hambden Fire Department since 1981, and has been serving as the Fire Chief since 1995. He also served with C&H Ambulance which provided EMS coverage to Chardon and Hambden before both fire departments began providing that service. He holds certifications as Firefighter II, EMT, Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor, and he completed the IAFC Executive Chief Officer Developement Program. Chief Hildenbrand also has a background in law enforcement serving with the Chardon Police Department and the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office where he currently serves as the Sheriff. Chief Hildenbrand currently serves as the President of the Geauga County Fire Chief’s Association and is active with the Ohio Fire Chief’s Association as well as the International Association of Fire Chiefs.
