Process of Becoming a Member
1. Fill Out the Online Interest Form: Submit your initial interest form to let us know you’re ready to take the first step in joining our team.
2. Complete the Full Application: After reviewing your interest form, we’ll provide you with the official application to gather more details about your background, experience, and commitment to serving.
3. Interview with Company Officers: If selected, you’ll be invited to interview with our officers, where we’ll discuss your goals, expectations, and how you can contribute to the department.
4. Background Check: To ensure the safety and integrity of our department, a background check will be conducted as part of the application process.
5. Chiefs Interview: A final interview with our department leadership will help determine your fit for the team and ensure all expectations are understood before moving forward.
6. Assignment to a Platoon: Upon approval, you’ll be assigned to a platoon, where you’ll begin working alongside experienced firefighters and emergency responders.
7. Probationary Period: Every new member undergoes a minimum one-year probationary period, where you’ll complete a structured training book, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential firefighting and EMS skills.
