Fire Safety Inspections to Support Your Adoption Process

Many adoption agencies require a home fire safety inspection to confirm that your home meets essential fire prevention and emergency preparedness standards. What Does the Inspection Cover?

During the inspection, our team will assess your home for key fire safety measures, including:

  • Smoke Alarms: Are they properly installed and functioning in key areas?
  • Carbon Monoxide Alarms: Are CO alarms present and operational?
  • Fire Extinguishers: Does the home have an accessible and properly maintained fire extinguisher?
  • Escape Routes & Exits: Are there clear pathways and an established emergency escape plan?
  • Hazard Identification: Are there any fire hazards that need to be addressed?
