The Hambden Fire Department requires a burn permit for outdoor burning to ensure the safety of our community and prevent uncontrolled fires.

What Can I Burn?

Permitted burns are restricted to natural materials such as:

Prohibited materials include: garbage, plastics, treated wood, construction materials, rubber, and hazardous waste.

How to Request a Burn Permit
